- How do I get a handpiece repaired? [top]

Send the repair to Lares Research at the above address, postage paid. All warranty information is in our computer and you can receive a quote for the estimated repair cost before any repairs are completed upon request. Customers outside the USA can contact their local Lares distributor for repair information.
- What is Lares' shipping policy? Who pays for shipping? [top]

Our policy is that ALL repairs are to be sent to Lares postage paid. If the product is under warranty Lares will pay for return shipping (In most cases via UPS 2nd day air). Non-warranty repairs are returned via the customer specified carrier and method at the customer's expense.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, prepaid check, or C.O.D.
- What is the turnaround time for a handpiece repair? [top]

The standard turnaround time for us to ship the handpiece back is 24 hours after we receive the handpiece. If the handpiece is sterilized, the method of payment is included, and you give us preauthorization to perform any needed repairs, we will complete those needed repairs and return ship the repaired handpiece the same day it arrives via UPS 2nd day air.
- Can my Lares handpiece be sterilized? [top]

Yes. We recommend that you sterilize your handpiece after every patient using a steam autoclave.
- How often should I lubricate my Lares highspeed handpiece? [top]

We recommend that you only lubricate with Lares Handpiece Conditioner prior to sterilization. You can purchase Lares Handpiece Conditioner by calling 888-333-8440. Customers outside the USA can contact their local Lares distributor to purchase Lares Handpiece Conditioner.
