LARES AND FOTONA EXTEND PARTNERSHIP FOR FIVE YEARS
Chico, CA: August 1, 2008- Lares Research and Fotona, the leading European manufacturer of all-tissue dental lasers based in Ljubljana, Slovenia, have agreed to extend their dental laser partnership for an additional five years. Under the new agreement, Lares Research continues as the exclusive U.S. distributor of Fotona’s all-tissue Er:YAG and Nd:YAG dental lasers currently sold under the Lares laser model name PowerLase® AT and HT. The new agreement also provides for Fotona and Lares to work closely together on the development of product enhancements, new lasers, and new laser clinical applications.
Commenting on the new agreement, Craig Lares, President of Lares Research said:

Lares Research was founded in San Carlos, California in 1956 and has been managed by Craig Lares, second generation of the founding family, since 1986.
Fotona was founded in Ljubljana, Slovenia in 1964 and has been managed by Matjaz Lukac since 2000.# # #
